Free to Be You grows our own staff, we’ll help you to develop and explore work opportunities that are right for you. For example:

Trainee Therapists & Supervisors.
We offer trainee placements within Free to Be You. We take on individuals who are looking for a second or third therapy placement opportunity, and if you have previous and lived experience we will consider this too. Our Managing Director and Team will not only enable you to develop your abilities to work with clients, we will also educate and support you on how to move into private practice.
We would expect trainee supervisors to have at least two active years of post qualifying experience working with clients.

We also welcome trainee enquiries from individuals looking for experience in arears such as Admin, Accounts, HR, Marketing, or IT for example.
I began my placement at Free to Be You Limited as a student art psychotherapist from Sheffield Hallam University. Working with Free to Be You has been a wonderful experience overall. I was made to feel at home straight away, and have confidence that I will be supported by the team when I am out in the community providing care. This confidence in turn makes me a better practitioner, and I feel I am improving my practice all the time...I have really benefitted from the wealth of resources and experience made available to me.
I feel that Free to Be You has encouraged me to reflect on my personal development, and have taken steps to give me experiences not just in my client work, but in networking with other professionals in health and social care across South Yorkshire. Working across multiple educational sites has given me the chance to really get to know the surrounding area, having moved across the country to go to university.
Over the past year, I have made connections through Free to Be You that I am sure I will take with me throughout me career. Working with the team at Free to Be You is one of the highlights of my week, and I can't recommend it enough as a placement choice.
