Teaching for undergraduate, post graduate and professionals is outstanding. Materials are well prepared, up to date and well researched. They are bespoke for every group. They have a vast knowledge of their subject and they take an empathic approach, which they adapt to fit the circumstances. Feedback from students about their work and materials is excellent.

Thank you so much for the amazing afternoon you gave us. It blew me away, and by the reaction of the participants, it made a massive impact on them too. I think it was the perfect experience at the perfect time. Your expertise, skills and compassion are a phenomenal combination, Leah. You just warm up a room. Thank you for your generosity with us all. You are such an inspiration.

Workshop - Supervision

I had the pleasure of watching Leah deliver a group supervision activity. I watched in awe as Leah took the participants to the lowest of lows and bring them back to the highest of highs. It was like watching a beautifully choreographed ballet as Leah engaged with the participants, helping them to talk through their anxieties, thoughts, and feelings and reach a position of closure at the conclusion of this wonderful dance.

Teaching therapist's to work online

I had the great chance to work with Leah as a colleague. So, I can experience her deep kindness and respect towards people whom she is working with, her care about them and her focus on what can be the best practice for their wellbeing improvement. She is a wonderful colleague, always available to help or to have a reflection about supervisees and their clients. I can say we had an enjoyable time working together meanwhile she gave me inspiration and an example of a very good online practitioner. The cherry on the top of the cake is her humour, and her unbelievable talent for organizing anything she is doing, I learnt a lot from her overviewing ability! Thank you, it was a wonderful time together!

Traded Service - Charity

I've just finished my session with a young person and they shared that they have found the counselling sessions extremely beneficial. Her mental health, focus, and motivation seem much improved. They shared how much they have enjoyed seeing their therapist and how she feels so much better as a result. Huge thanks from me - this young person was in a really difficult place when I first started working with them. The change in them, since seeing their therapist, has been incredibly positive.

Safeguarding Supervision

As a large secondary school, we have used Free to Be You supervision services for our staff when they have dealt with particularly distressing disclosures or incidents. Being able to respond to the needs of staff in difficult situations enables us to ensure we maintain a mentally strong workforce. Capacity is them created for staff to respond appropriately to our students when they are in crisis. Staff feedback is that they feel listened too and appreciated.

Children and Young People's Therapy

The therapists build a rapport with their students with a warm and sensitive manner whilst upholding a professional approach. Students often comment on how having time with their counsellors has enabled them to work through their worries and arrive at a better place whereby, they are able to reframe their thinking with a more positive outlook. The relationship with both therapists is equally privileged and cherished by students and staff alike!

Education Therapy Services - SLA

The marriage of our thresholds in education and health have beautifully joined to make our school an emotionally safe space for everyone to thrive!

You've encouraged, supported, led, and championed discussions around everything from trauma to power, mediation to meditation! Our staff and kids know it's okay to feel how they do, and that's good enough! Phrases I now use on a daily basis, 'Can tell me a little more', 'I'm catching...', 'Let me think', 'I'm not sure how I feel right now', 'Let me think about boundaries' are all phrases I attribute to you, and they make my life easier! Non-judgemental, devoid of power, and give so much opportunity for open discussion and attunement. The staff training you and your team provided was excellent and has made us as a leadership team evaluate our own practice.

You are all amazing practitioners and anyone who experiences your team are very lucky!
